Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of both the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals in floor and team events, and a bronze for the balance beam. She became the first American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to earn the most medals. The year she was in 2016, along with the teammate Gabby Doug were the very first Americans who won back-toback golds in team competitions. Her silver medals came in the individual floor and all-around event. After the 2002 Olympics she took three years off from gymnastics. She was also a part of the gold medal winning American teams in two World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began at the age of two and her most favorite sport is floor exercises. Aly supports the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. Aly hopes to be fashion-forward and increase her line of leotards and socks in the coming years. Fierce is a novel is due out later in the year.
